During my journey to open my own business I have been in contact with dozens of people that I counted on to make my dream a reality. Franchise brokers, corporate teams, financial advisers, business brokers, loan officers, and real estate teams to name a few. I could not have done it without them. Yet as I got deeper into it I began to realize that although everyone was motivated to help me, my best interests NEVER came before their personal goal of making the sale or steering me in their preferred direction.
That was until I met Mike. In the 6 months that we worked together nothing was more important to Mike than my success and happiness. Before we even got into our search he encouraged me to understand exactly what my personal goals and values were. He helped me understand every aspect of the world of franchising and owning my own business. When a franchise opportunity no longer aligned with my values he worked hard to open the door to new businesses that fit. He walked me through difficult conversations and helped me understand every angle that the many parties I spoke with were thinking about. His advice was thoughtful and smart. Most importantly, Mike was incredibly patient. He understood that I needed to make decisions on my own schedule and in my own way, and he helped me understand that anyone not showing me that same patience was not treating me with respect. I looked forward to our calls as a bright point in my week where I could speak openly and honestly. Mike is truly one of the most authentic people I’ve met in my entire career and I am incredibly grateful for his hard work on my behalf.
